About WW Thermal Designs, LLC
Our Mission
At WW Thermal Designs, LLC, our mission was to provide simple and sustainable designs, that are both curbside recyclable and meet ISTA® thermal performance requirements. In time it grew into a cold chain consulting service, that evaluates a client's current cold chain process and products and implements a system or product improvement or a complete strategy into the cold chain market.

Who are the people behind WW Thermal
WW Thermal
WW Thermal Designs started because we got a puppy, seriously. It was during puppy house training that I noticed how many packages were being delivered to each neighbor's door, each day. Ironically, we are outdoor people, but I hadn't paid attention in my own neighborhood. It made me recognize just how many people were receiving home delivery services and it was growing each week. That was 2015, who knew, it was just the beginning and home delivery doesn't appear to be slowing down. So, two average people decided to take a risk, actually, one did, and the other tagged along.

Chris Hall
Chris was clearly the expert in this duo. His background in paper and packaging, then the opening of his own packaging manufacturing business, allowed him to jump right in. He's comfortable in the package design space and knows raw materials and their capabilities. He also had a great understanding of ISTA compliance. It was a perfect fit and startup project. All he had to do was find the right sustainable materials, to appeal to a changing market. You'd think with 25 years' experience, we'd make no mistakes, right....that's a funny story, ok, maybe not so funny, but here we are, with a product line and a website.

Now, to the village idiot of packaging. Before this endeavor, packaging to me was "goodies in the mail". Ten years later, I've learned a lot. I did not have any experience, but I have military organizational skills, I'm witty, a quick learner with a quirky way of figuring things out. Eventually, I quit the corporate world and joined full time. Combined with Chris' know how, it worked itself out. When you start a package design business, in your kitchen, game room and garage, you get creative. Ask me about the makeshift "testing chamber" in a closet? Yes, the house is still standing.
